late last year you may remember i did a shoot for my friend pete wheeler for a catalogue for his show at jonathan smart art gallery. well i popped in to see jonathan last week to see how his summer was etc and he asked me if i'd like to come and shoot artworks in his current show. well i wasn't going to say no to that, was i.....even if shooting art is so so hard(getting the colours right ain't easy)
a little over a year ago i photographed my flatmate's niece and nephew for their christmas present for their parent's. you can view some of those images here.
a few weeks ago i suggested to meg's that i do some more of them - they're pretty gorgeous kids after all. the results are below. def managed to get some similar shots to last time, but also, wow they have grown up!
2009 ended in a flurry of activity with what has no become an annual job, good ole santa photos, which i naturally can't show here.
since the new year though i have been doing some work for a few real estate agents....def something i can improve on, but thus far enjoying the experience of getting around and meeting new people
i was recently up in auckland catching up with my friends, and basically hanging out. i realised at the end of the trip that almost every day i was there i was surrounded by children. it's official, i am pretty much the only childless one amongst friends my age.
when i go out to visit my best friend, and mother of my god-daughter i always have the camera on hand. there are three in the family now and i always like to get some snaps so i can look back on how quickly they grow, especially as i see them so rarely. here a few of my fav's from the afternoon i spent with them.
